What is the difference between "Auto Bid" and "Bid Now"?
The “Bid $X,XXX” option is a quick bid feature. To bid the next required increment on the lot, you can click this red button and then confirm your bid before placing it.
With Autobid, you can select a maximum dollar amount that you would feel comfortable bidding on this lot. The system will automatically outbid others on your behalf, in the smallest increments possible up to your maximum bid. Can I test ride a horse in the sale?
Please contact the seller or agent directly to discuss the possibility of seeing the horse in person before the sale ends.
How do I pay or get paid?
Paying to list a horse or item: You can pay via Credit Card for your approved lot(s) after completing the consignment link for horses here, or the consignment form for items here. There is a $300 consignment fee for all horse listings, and an additional 5% commission paid by the seller to Sold in 7 in the event that the horse sells in the auction. For tack items, there is no consignment fee and a 10% commission paid by the seller to Sold in 7 Auctions when the item sells. Please note that all horse lots must be approved, and only once the lot is approved will you receive the link to pay.
Paying for a horse or item you have purchased: Sold in 7 will collect payment from buyers. Payment methods if you have won a lot include the option for a Wire/ACH transfer or credit card (processing fees may apply).
How to get paid as a seller: Sold in 7 will collect funds from the buyer directly, and pay to the seller less the 5% or 10% commission fee based on the auction (horses vs. items, respectively). This eliminates the back and forth between buyer and seller to settle payment. Your payment options to receive funds include a check, an ACH transfer (for items less than $5000) or a wire transfer.
I have placed an accidental bid, can this be removed?
Once a bid is set and confirmed by you for a lot, it cannot be removed. After typing in and submitting your bid, you will be prompted by the system to confirm the amount you are bidding to avoid any mistakes on your end. No exceptions will be granted.
Will I be notified when I am outbid on a lot, or win a lot?
In the event that you are outbid on an item, you will receive an email notification as well as a pop-up on your screen should you still be logged in on your browser.
Who do I pay if I win a lot?
Payment will be collected by the seller or agent for each lot. Please note that some payment methods, such as credit card, may incur additional processing fees.
Is the horse insured following the sale?

The insurance, arranged by the Sale Management (Sold in 7 Auctions) with C. How do I coordinate transport for a horse or item that I have purchased?
Each lot will have a location listed in their description. It is the responsibility of the buyer and seller/agent to communicate directly to coordinate transportation.
